Kharka Basant, better known as twin villages, is unique among the villages, for these two villages fall in different blocks,districts,assemblies and constituencies.Nevertheless,they and their people are so close to each other and one another that these two villages are ,on the face of it, considered to be as one villgae till it is pointed out to the peaple that Kharka Basant are in fact two separate villages belonging to two different districts.
